When Marty is eleven he helps an old man who has fallen over on the pavement. The old man says “You will receive a special surprise in your post on your 12th birthday” to Marty (a football fan).On Marty’s 12th birthday there is a package in his post, addressed to “Marty the Football Fan”. Inside there was a football. This was no ordinary football, it was a golden football. Marty hastily called al his friends over to play with him. “What a ball” Marty exclaimed. When he connected with the football it travels unfailingly like a bullet out of 9mm pistol straight into the skull of an enemy. It curves past opponents at such amazing speeds that they are powerless to stop it. When he kicked a normal football it didn’t travel at such speeds and make amazing, awesome curves. It felt like this football was meant for him. It was getting late so Marty took the football and went home. He ate supper and had the football on the floor beside him. The next morning he woke up to find it gone and in its place a shiny new golden football helmet. The same thing happened but he was the best receiver not punter. He could catch and make the most unbelievable catches you will ever see. The next day he got a football gloves. These gave him the power to throw and be the best QB ever. He could throw like a pro. He had made the team and was one of the best. To protect his equipment he would paint it his team colours. It was his precious equipment and couldn’t afford to lose it. 13 years later Marty was one of the best football players to have ever lived. He got there by doing a good deed.
