Background: In the micro-system technology frequently very small and sensitive construction units or articles must be manipulated by small devices. Everywhere, where the human hand and the conventional tools are applicable no longer for it become so-called Mikromanipulatoren assigned. A Mikromanipulator is equipment for mechanical interferences at objects with very small dimensions (within the range of some micrometers or among them). It becomes for example in the micro surgery, in the medical technology, (reproduction medicine the cell's treatment) and used for positioning the test electrode. Such a manipulation happens frequently under electricalmicroscopic control. The Mikromanipulator „translated “those, related to the investigation object, much to rough movements of the human hand in very fine motion of the used instruments. By its universal applicableness the human hand often serves as model for mechanical grip arms. A grab procedure is an action for seizing and manipulating an object by a grip arm. When seizing deformationable or fragile workpieces come the grab speed as well as the grab strength special meaning. On the one hand safe seizing must be ensured, i.e. a relative motion between gripper jaws and workpiece must be excluded. Thus a lower limit Fmin results for the grab strength. On the other hand the workpiece may not be damaged and/or destroyed, from which an upper border Fmax for the permissible grab strength results. In order not to damage the construction units when seizing, the sewing-hook points (clamping jaws) for arising forces must be sensitive and an appropriate feedback to the overall system give. Measurements of such small small forces (between 10 -6 and 10 -7 N) are only insufficiently possible with for example strain gauges, piezoelectric transducers or capacitive and optical measuring procedures and offer no sufficient sensitivity.

State of the art: Micro grip arms usually consist of a carrier with the two gripper jaws as well as...
