What it takes to be a professional soldier
An American soldier is always looked at as a guardian of feedom. Aperson who is dedicated and willing to give all they have for the health and welfare of our nation. The strength behind that soldier is motivation, the motivation is a desire. The desire is to be the possible best soldier and civilian. That is what makes a professional soldier. When a soldier is motivated the difference in them is something that every person can see. The way they handle situations are different, they will give the full one hundred and fifty percent into the simplest tasks given to them. For example if they were told to complete something within a time hack the strenious effort they put in to the mission will cuase them to finish before the time limit. Beeing motivated in all things sounds easy and effortless but, it really is not it requires something that not everybody has within them. The requirement is within every proffesional civillian, soldier or even a young boy that has a dream of becoming the best. Desire is the requirement. When a soldier has the desire to be the best they can be, everything about that soldier changes and it starts with the motivation I spoke of. Then comes the continous effort to remain applicable to their duty, service, and high standards which they will hold themselves to. The desire is something that comes from within, that is what makes the differnece between a professional and makes them stand out over those who are not achieving the standards. What needs to happen is those motivated soldiers need toin some way help train or show those soldier who are not motivated how to be like them. At the same time the soldier that is on the bottom end of the motivational scale need to take a look in the mirror and ask themselves, why they joined the military? Why they are not giving their everything into their daily schedule in their army career. If this were to happen we...
