I was born in the bustling city of Mumbai, India (erstwhile Bombay). This being the commercial capital of the country introduced me to a fast paced life ever since I was a toddler. As is the case with any commercial city, Mumbai has an eclectic mix of cultures and practices making it an absolutely stunning city to live in. Growing up in a city like Mumbai is the best things any kid can ask for. This city has one of the best shopping areas catering to a huge variety of clothes, toys and games both domestic and international. Apart from this amusement parks, play-gardens and a really long coastline makes this place a child’s dream-city. Schooling here introduces a child to the diversity this city has to offer. Unlike the relatively under-commercialised cities or towns in India, Mumbai is not governed by a specific race, religion or culture. I had a friend from every possible religion and culture during my schooling days itself! The commercialisation also ensures that the latest technology trends are introduced here far before they reach the other cities. It opens up a child to the world at a very young age.
Mumbai, also known as the city that never sleeps has a plethora of options for people willing to explore it. A coastline that runs throughout the length of the city gives people an option to soak their ankles in the Arabian Sea regardless of which part of the city they reside in. The railway line which is the spine of Mumbai runs for over 20 hours of a day transporting people to their desired destinations in no time.
