Nuclear Technology

In many developed countries, nuclear technology is becoming a leading means in science and other fields. Since the moment it was officially used for the first time, however, alongside its effectiveness and advantages, it has resulted in several negative consequences thus far. Nevertheless, it has been claimed that its presence, amongst the other sources of energy, is more beneficial than to being disadvantageous and destructive. This is due to the fact that nuclear technology has extensive applications in various fields.
To begin with, when the term “nuclear power” is heard, many are reminded of nuclear weapon and its destructiveness. In fact, people deserve to make a stereotype like this. Some countries use their nuclear power to threaten other countries in order to either claim themselves the dominant country in a region or to exploit other countries’ natural resources. At some plants such as factories and manufacturers where significant amounts of radioactive metals including Uranium are used as nuclear fuel, a single leakage of the source can lead to massive explosions and permanent side effects on the environment.
Notwithstanding its negative reputation, nuclear technology is far more beneficial and advantageous. As a modern source, nuclear energy is used effectively in many applications. For instance, it makes up a significant portion of the world’s electricity. As a result, it is both environmentally cleaner and economically cheaper than other sources used. As for another purpose, nuclear technology is widely used in science. Nowadays there have been numerous methods devised in order to utilize the power in medicine, agriculture, aircraft and so many other subjects. This puts the world’s knowledge and development in a whole new era.
On the whole, nuclear power has become a very efficient source of energy...
