Most of the successful organizations have undergone a crisis at one time in their evolution. In most cases, the crisis brings in some new strategic approaches to solving the existing crisis that lead to change in the organization. That indicates that organizational crisis may bring in changes to the organization that may end up benefiting the organization in achieving better performance than before. At such a time, the organization has makes changes within itself that may either make the situation better or make it worse. The organization under the crisis have a higher need for urgent measures to change the situation where all the details are essential in the implementation phase. In the organization change phase, the right leadership is key to ensure the success of the plan laid out in the organisation. The transformative leadership role in the organizations move to manage crisis is a critical strategic approach towards reforming the organization from the effects of the crisis. This form of approach leads to better management structure that brings in the issue of employee motivation in the organization. According to Hurst (1995), the crisis that many organizations experiences normally leads to unprecedented changes that may lead to total transformation of the organization.
