For my project, I chose the area of interaction Approaches to Learning. I wanted to focus mainly on learning how to edit a song as well as forcing myself to put more time into learning dances, which is something that I like to do anyways, but in a less structured way. I chose this topic because I have always wanted to learn how to dance, but I seemed to keep putting it off for one reason or another. Editing is something completely new that I hadn’t really done before nor taken any classes for and I thought that it would be both fun and something that I could be proud of as my final product. This topic relates to my area of interaction because it centers around learning something new and finding the best way possible in which to learn it. The final inquiry question that I came up with was: How can I learn how to edit and arrange a dance to music as well as learn the dance well?
I focused on finding the most effective way possible to learn these things and achieve my final goal. The area of interaction is directly apparent in my inquiry question, as it focuses on ways of learning what I need to learn in order to finish my final product. The final goal that goes with my project is to learn how to edit audio and dance to different songs and learn what methods help me to learn best. record myself performing the dance that I arranged and putting it on a website for my project as well as a description of all of the stages of my process.
I later added more to my project because my mix of songs wasn’t as good as I had wanted it to be. In order to add value to my project, I decided to include covers of full songs that I had been learning in my free time since before I started my project.
