PERSONAL MARKETING PLAN
In this assignment, I would like to talk about my professional development and career strategy for the future. First of all, I will explain my professional goals, by developing my own marketing strategy for advancing my career. I will talk about my accomplishments and also create my own SWOT Analysis. Goal setting is half of the achieving. So secondly, I will explain my goals and objectives. I will explain the position that I’m seeking and it includes profession type, skills and interests required by position, industry and organization type. Thirdly, I will explain positioning and marketing mix; which encloses product, price, place and promotion. These steps are to shape by myself. For product step, I will talk about me. For price step, I will touch on how much do I want or need as a salary? In promotion step, I will talk about how I will communicate with potential employers. Place is the last step and I will talk about where I want to be. Where will I be the happiest as a geographical location or type of place for example large corporation, own business, etc…It's a unique plan for reaching my career goal. So, this assignment is important for me.
SWOT Analysis is acronym for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
I think, my strengths are; enthusiasm, fun loving, good communication skills, high level of self awareness and technology knowledge. I can express ideas coherently, write concisely and also listen attentively. Actually I’m an honest and reliable person. People don’t doubt what I said. Also I have internal locus of control. I love learning and I can learn really fast by just listening. In addition I’m balanced person. Timing is so important for me, I’m a punctual person.
My weaknesses are; sometimes impatience, emotional and sometimes nervous. I get nervous when I can’t do the job on time. I can be a little bit shy when I met people never met before. Being emotional is weakness for me, because...
