Good evening Honored Guests, Families, friends, and most especially, My fellow Warriors , I am Phillip-Michael Dela-Cruz Bamba, I’ve been attending St. Paul since the second half of my sophomore year. I knew little about this school before my transfer, except for the usual tag name: “the basketball school”
I was elected class president with the goals of unifying my peers, planning successful fundraising, and bringing my class for our senior trip to the Bahamas. Sadly, the Bahamas was not in the best interest of my class. So we agreed to the most practical place for our class senior trip… Seoul, Korea. All thanks to the brilliant mind of our sergeant at arms JR Manalo, but the success and accomplishments of our class is owed to our treasurer and true class president Carla Vy, without her I believe I would have failed my role as president on day one, Carla and our class PRO Ruth No, kept us on track and led our class on our #1 fundraising event, the Valentine‘s Day candy grams. To our family and friends, here with us today, it’s hard to put into words the experience of the last four years and how much it has meant to each of us. The faces of the parents here today are smiling with pride, and relief… that your son or daughter is graduating and that their tuition and student fee’s can’t get any higher, that is until college rolls in… Thank you parents for sending your son or daughter to a private “Christian“ school, especially to my Mother and Father for investing into my education, for sending me to St. Paul, and for always believing in me and having hope.
