You must be tired by now, but you have to become chief again. You can’t let this happen again, Simon’s death was a disaster and you know it. Those children are not thinking right, but you are. Everyone trust you Ralph, but the fear they have to Jack and the need to hunt makes them blind. You have to make this work out.
Simon had an important message for you, that message was that there wasn’t a beast. It has never existed, your fear created the beast and so it created the need for the boys to protect themselves. Ralph, now that you know this you have to tell everyone before it’s too late. You also have to destroy Jack’s need for power and to do this one of the best ways is to show him no fear, to convince him that there is a rescue hope and that hunting it’s not the only way to get food. You don’t need to be violent Ralph, it would only lead to more violence and certainly that’s not what we need now. You need to maintain all the boys in one group, a group that every single boy has tasks and duties. Piggy can help you, he knows all the boys on the island.
Ralph you have to believe in yourself, anything is possible. You have to give the boys hope. Because living with hope can make you live longer. The reason for this is that when you have hope you believe that anything can happen so you just have to wait and while you are waiting you have to be civilized and I think you can do that you are English, and English are good at everything, right?
