The legislature passed a Right‐To‐Know law that is designed to provide
information to public employees about possible exposure to hazardous chemicals in the work
place. Part of the law requires the college to provide you training about our Right to Know plan,
label systems we use, and how to get more information about a particular chemical.
Please note that completion of this training is required before you can be paid.
You may complete your RTK training using the following steps:
Go to the web address http://www.usg.edu/ehs/training/rtkbasic/ for the
Right‐To‐Know Online Training Program.
The screens provide information regarding hazardous materials in the workplace. You
are prompted at various times to answer multiple choice or true/false questions.
After reading the Introduction page, click the next >> button in the upper right hand
corner to continue.
After reading each page, click the next >> button to advance to the next screen.
You will go thru a series of question/answer screens.
Click the Finish>> button on the final screen.
At the end of the training, please complete the online training certificate, print a completed
certificate, and send it to the Human Resources office to be placed in your employment file.
