I got a low level of anger in response to roads events. I was really surprise when I saw my scores; I do not expect to be in that level. I believed that I was in the top of anger category. I think I got that result, first of all, because, I am not spending many time driving at this time. I am not working at this moment, so, I am not taking the rush hour traffic in the expressway and I am not dealing with temerarious drivers as well. I think, for that reason, I feel more relax now, related to driving anger response. But, some months ago, I usually arrived very upset to my house after some offensive drivers put on my way.
Some of the driver’s actions that make me feel my blood pressure in the top, is when they make a suddenly cut off, without any sign or enough space, almost causing and accident. Every time that happen to me, I can not control my anger and honestly I really would like to be an undercover police to pull them over and suspend their driver license. Now, I hope that the strategies learned in this lesson, helped me to dissipate my anger easily. I was thinking to follow Steven Covey’s motto, I am quoting here: the way you see the problem is the problem. I am planning to write this motto everywhere to remember me that I have the solution in my hands to control all my emotions.
