The definition of scheduling is setting an order and time for planned events. Scheduling and planning has probably been the single most agitating dilemma I have to deal with on a daily basis than any other subject I can think of. Whether organizing my days, weeks, and months on important tasks of work, school or business or simply planning out special events and tasks that are less important, scheduling and planning has been a mountain I have not yet conquered. The proper skills of scheduling and planning has for the most part felt like an ability your inherited with versus developed, but much like anything else this skill can be learned, developed and improved if one was otherwise not inherited with it. I’m sure through adequate research and fine tuning the most appropriate and applicable system that works for me and my personality I will eventually develop the best efficient technique that rivals other great scheduling and planning individuals.
The information that should be gathered in order to help me solve this problem can be through articles or documents explaining the various methods of proper scheduling and planning by experts or institutions that regularly address this issue. Various samples and formats of pre-written or electronically typed schedules will be gathered for the best suited option which fits my personality. Observation of well developed schedulers as they are actually scheduling tasks and planning out their days will give a better real life example and insight. Purchasing reputable products for scheduling and planning will make the learning process much easier, such as daily, weekly or monthly planners, Palm scheduling devices, post-it tabs, erasable reminder boards, and smart phones that have scheduling capabilities. If there are any other reputable products out there they will be research as well.
