My name is Mayada Set, I’m attending University of Phoenix to pursuit my degree in Information Technology/ Software Engineer. I live in Murrieta, California with my husband and my eight months old baby. My nationality is Cambodian, I moved to US after I married my husband in 2007. Right now I stay home and take care of my little boy Damon. At the same time, I go to junior college to get my associate degree in Computer Science at night.
In Cambodia, I was a math teacher. I taught regular students and blind students from grade 7 to 9. I like working with kids and helping children with special need. I really like my job over there, everyday I taught students how to read Braille and use abacus to calculate the number. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed counseling all students that needed help. I just hope when I success in my life, I can go back and help them again.
After I married my husband in 2007, I decided to move to U.S. My husband is a Network Architecture. He’s a nice guy; he always supports and does whatever I want. He teaches me how to live in U.S, he sends me to school, and especially he give a cute little boy who is now eight months old.
My goal is to get my Bachelor Degree in Information Technology and get a good job. I will do all my best to achieve my goal by 2011.
I like to spend time with family playing golf in the back yard and make some good food.
