When an organization is starting as a business it is potential that they prepare a financial plan for structure and organization for success. Financial planning is based upon planning for the company’s unknown future, which will help with the company’s success. Many companies that are publicly traded provide to the public company records. This is done in order for its governments and competitors to have a clear understanding of how successful they were in predication for success and abiding by the rules of business.
The company I choice that is publicly traded is Costco dues to its continual grow and success that is consider superior over the years. In observation of Costco I was able to see why they were able to be successful. I feel that they have inbreed in their company without being aware is servant leadership, which is inspired by the commitment to customer service and competitive pricing. In order to be successful on showing that the company is viable is by analyzing Costco as the organization it is.
Analysis of fundamentals
In 1983 in Seattle Washington is when Costco became a publicly traded company. In the begging the membership warehouse was in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Australia, & United States. Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, & have subsidiaries in Korea & Taiwan. The way this works is based off of Costco buying its merchandise from the manufacturing company to be shipped to designated warehouse in a matter of a day. This is a direct method that has been proven to be more efficient & quicker due to it not having additional cost with a simple one step solution. Based on sec.gov. 2014 these cost are based upon payment terms that are made with supplier’s vs the working capital.
