Mission, vision, and value statements are significant elements, which serve as directives for a firm’s strategic initiatives. Firms construct their business, corporate, and tactical approaches and goals. The presented paper is a descriptive examination of Awesome Arcade’s mission and vision and how these statements will differentiate Awesome from the competition. Additionally, presented are the values of Awesome, which attains influence through the mission and vision statements as well as how these values intrinsically steers the strategic direction of the firm, which ultimately plays an essential role within profitability escalation, stakeholder satisfaction, and differentiation within the market.
Business Service, Customers, and Mission Statement
The business plan attempts in developing an arcade with an indoor/outdoor electric go-cart racetrack named Awesome Arcade. Within the local area of DuPont, Washington, activities for youth are challenging. Youth affiliated with the military have an advantage because of installation activities; however, for children without the affiliation often travel a significant distance to enjoy multiple activities. Teenagers bore quickly and through this can find themselves doing mischievous deeds. Awesome would provide children of varying age’s entertainment that would aid in keeping him or her busy in a positive manner in a safe, comfortable, and unique environment. This business probably will not initially generate extensive profit; nevertheless, it will serve an underserved area that lacks sufficient youth entertainment. Adults and children of varying ages enjoy go-cart riding and engaging in arcade games.
Washington State is known for consistent rain throughout the year, which makes an indoor/outdoor facility a necessity. During inclement weather the racetrack will function inside.
