The market for performance cars in the last decade has been broad and vast. Unfortunately for some competition, this is changing. In racing today, horsepower, torque, and other motor specifications are the most important. For example, the new Subaru Impreza WRX STI comes with a 2.5-liter DOHC boxer engine produces 300-hp and 300 lb-ft of torque which is turbocharged and intercooled. While the Impreza sports the 2.50-litre DOHC, the Evolution has a less powerful 2.0-litre engine. However, despite the smaller motor, the Evolution stays head to head with the Impreza.
