My Experience at Table Mountain National Park

One day Me and my family were driving to Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town, South Africa. It was about a 35 minute drive from our house and we decided to take the cable car up the mountain, However, when we got there, the line for the cable car was extremely long and it seemed like the cable car went up and down every 30 minutes. It was a 5 minute walk from the car to the cable car line, so we decided we would take a trail that has the same views as from table mountain. The trail was named pipe trail because there was a pipe under the trail, fortunately it was an old pipe that was under the trail.
We didn’t realize that the parking was where we were, so we drove a short distance away from it, then we returned knowing that the parking lot was the head of the trail. Next we had to unload the hiking gear and put it on. Finally all we had to do was make a quick bathroom stop, then start walking on that trail and enjoy the views. When we started walking on the trail I was quite energetic, but the views were gorgeous. When I looked up at Table Mountain, it was surrounded by clouds, so I thought I wouldn’t be able to see anything from up there and my dad said, “it is freezing up there when it is covered with clouds and you can’t come down by the cable car because it is to cloudy up there to see if anything happens.”
