Taking Out Your Anger On Cookies
Do you ever get so mad at someone you start cursing left and right? You start to send text messages with caps lock on and using a bunch of exclamation points. Or you start to throw a tantrum once you lose a team death match against a twelve year old, throwing your sofa, along with your dog, all over the place? Whatever the case, baking some delicious cookies is a great and productive way to release your anger.
Now, instead of flipping your table, clear is and take out the ingredients necessary for this recipe for anger release. You will need; 1+1/2 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, 1 cup of butter, 2+3/4 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and an egg.
To get your mind off of your ex getting with that one guy/girl they told you not to worry about, get a bowl and add the butter ( softened) along with the sugar. With all your anger, and a whisk, mix together the sugar and butter until your hands are as exhausted as they would be after flinging your furniture across the room, or until smooth.
In a separate bowl, add in all the other dry ingredients, which consists of; the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Begin to gently mix and as you mix it counter-clockwise, stare at the bowl and let it remind you of a soothing and calm snowstorm. Let it remind you of those canceled school days and how happy you were you get another day to do your math homework. Then begin to taste the warm hot chocolate while covered with a snuggie. And then you realize you forgot to preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
As you feel the heat from the oven, the snow melts in your mind, and its time to add in the vanilla extract and the egg to the sugar-butter mixture. If you still have a little bit of anger left in you,
do not use it all in this step. Just use enough to mix together the wet ingredients.
