TaxCut

TaxCut, a tax accounting program, is widely used by tax accounting students of Tarleton State University (TSU). This student-friendly software is used as a hands-on learning material for every accounting major student to their simulated tax returns. Since, a student follows a guided built-in conditional menu in every step he/she performs, a student reduces his/her tax-interpretational mistakes critical in the tax accounting field. As, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) treats on tax software as if the tax return was prepared by certified preparers, students know they can trust Tax-cut’s precision. What a student needs to begin using the program besides his/her knowledge of tax accounting will be the paper-based facts from documents and other information to provide requested data input for the program.
TaxCut have available editions from 1995 to 2007. This enables anybody to prepare his/her personal and/or business tax returns, including e-file and worry-free audit support. There are software products of different categories depending on the sophisticated preparation requirements needed like TurboTax and SimplyTax. The software cost varies depending on the benefit a person can get in the particular tax software he/she uses.
