“We can run with the best of them.”
The quote, “Transition is a key for us. We can run with the best of them.” Devin Harris comes to mind when analyzing the police cars of today and even the police cars fifty years ago. While both still holding on to its original characteristic; black and white in color with flashing lights and sirens. In 1961 the Chevy police car was built with heavy duty components unlike their civilian counterparts. The 1961 Chevy police car was just as stylish, and a powerful engine for speed as any other cars in it era. As well as the latest model; the 2011 Chevy police car modern design, V8 engine, and a slew of specialized equipment. The effort put in the production of both police cars was made to be able perform just as good as or even better than the average vehicle.
The 1961 Chevy is a big, bold, and long police car. The front of the car has a broad chrome bumper and fender, bulging headlights, and sizable print of the word police between the head lights. The side of the car is painted black with white lettering and a drawing of a white badge on the driver’s door. White paint is along the hood, the roof, and the truck of the car. There appears to be only two different styles of red lights on top of the car. The light on the right side is small cylinder shape and the one on the left is much larger and round. This police car has much chrome throughout the body of the car. This tailored look was popular among most models in its era.
The 2011 Chevy is sleek, stealth, and compact police car. The hood, bumper, fender is painted black creating a more undercover effect. The head lights are small with three different light styles. The grill of the car is outlined with a small strip of chrome that has a small Chevy symbol in center, and flashing lights on top. A...
