I don’t know where I was, or how I got here, or even who I am. I cracked open my eyes to see nothing but bright, white light and as my eyes painfully adjusted, I felt a crispy leaf falling on my face. I was in a forest. It was the most extraordinary scenery but it seemed so familiar. The way the sun peeped through the stunning trees, the way the birds brought sweet music to my ears, the way the cool wind softly brushed my face, it was breathtaking. Right beside me was a small, little girl that was sitting all by herself. I wanted to ask her what was going on, but she built herself a wall so high that I couldn’t even interact with her. I figured that if I wanted to know what I was doing here, I was going to have to find out myself. So I started curiously roaming around looking for answers. Then, a lake came into view and I just stood there on the shore, gazing at the calm water reflecting the trees on the far side of the lake, with the different hues of blue. I was testing out the water and suddenly, I was immersed into the water as it was wrapping me like a cool and refreshing cocoon. I was weightless as I was effortlessly floating, enjoying the clouds above me and all of a sudden, fragments of memories of me on the lake flashed through my mind. It was a quick second of my life before I got here and that was when I remembered that I wasn’t here to enjoy the view; I was here to get some answers. Scared and confused, I quickly lifted myself out of the water and, once again, I continued my journey, wandering around the forest. It finally came to an end, but past the forest was nothing at all, just an empty, flat field of dirt that went on for as far as my eyes could see. With nowhere else to go, I hesitantly continued straight and out of nowhere, an old, wooden house appeared in front of me. It was my house.
