In what kind of teams have you participated?
I have been involved in many team efforts. All the teams that I have participated in are all different. I encounter many of my experience while at the job I have worked in teams for school, work, and some personal projects. Each one of the experiences was different and rewarding. Each team was a lesson in itself. The teams I have participated in at work gave me a different look at life. Some of the teams. I couldn't wait to get out off, and there were some that were fun to be a part. Depending on the group of people and what type of attitudes each has towards the team aspect. As long as you’re in a group there will always be conflict in the group and that group I was in had lots of conflicts. Everyone in that team had to find a way to make everyone in the team feel comfortable and respected enough to speak about the issues that are going on among the group.

Communication in a team is different from one-one communication because everyone communicates to each other in all type of ways. Verbal communication could be taken differently. There are certain words can mean different things to different individuals. Effective communication requires paying attention to an entire process, not just the content of what’s in the message. When you're the messenger in this process, you should consider potential barriers at several stages that can keep your intended audience from receiving your message. It is critical that the leader of the group/team understand their audience and help them to open up. If the audience feels comfortable and they open up, they have a better chance of completing the task that is at hand. With excellent communication, you can get a good team.
