The Young Teenager
There was once and still a young teenager who thought nobody cares nor loves her. She used to sit in her room every day crying, asking God why. She felt as if her mother didn’t love her and her stepfather spoke down on her. The thought of committing suicide came across her mind every day. Until, one day she meets a young man the age of nineteen years of age. The two somehow became best friends. She told him all her problems, there wasn’t a day that went by she didn’t cry to him about problems she was having. He was there through everything, the times her mother beat her, when she ran away, even when she had her emotional break downs and about to reach her breaking point. Her and the best friend being to hang out every day. They would sit on the phone for hours and half of the time the girl is crying, asking him why her life had to be like that. He didn’t know what to really say to her because he never experienced the things she’s experiencing, especially at such a young age. One day the best friend finally found the words to tell her, to encourage her, to change her mindset and the way she thinks. He told her “ They gone regret all of the things they did to you, if nobody love you, I do, when no one is there, I will be, I swear to you best friend you not gone have to want for nothing and I’m not gone let no one hurt you anymore. I love you and stay strong, do your work try to finish school so you can get to college, pray, work hard and leave these boys alone. They only want one thing and they not doing anything but holding you back from an excellent future.” Ever since that day the young teenager remembers that and she start to get her life together. She was learning that God has a reason for every action and there is somebody in the world that loves her.
