B-More Careful
I wake up 6:30 am to get ready for another day of school. As me and my brothers take turns using the bathroom I start to chuckle from the events that just occurred yesterday. When I and my brothers finish getting ready we wait for a private to take us to school. It’s only a 15 minute walk from my house to my school but our parents feel it’s not even safe enough for us to walk that distance even in broad daylight. The shuttle arrives. I lock the door to the house and when we hop in we start to greet other students from different schools in the shuttle. As I exit the shuttle the driver told me to have a good day at school, after hearing that I remembered that a friend of mine said he was bringing his Nintendo Game-Cube to school for Game day. This doesn’t happen too often so we try to take advantage of that privilege because the elementary/middle school I was attending happens to be the worst of the worst. 8 o’clock is coming around the corner and I and my friends start wrapping up our game of football. At the time none of us could actually afford a football so we either used a paper ball or a plastic bottle to play. The crazy thing is that I probably had the most fun in our little court chasing either a plastic bottle or a paper ball.
The Bell rings. It’s the third quarter of school and spring is right around the corner. The snow is starting to melt more and more as the sun’s rays shine through the crowd. My first class is Language Arts and when I say I have the most fun in this class I mean it. We have a substitute teacher for the remainder of the quarter because Mrs. Banks, our original teacher, had a baby and of course she will take some time off to spend with her new born child. She walks in and greets the class. A few students giggle from the obvious damage done to her by her own students. I felt kind of bad for the sub for what we did to her yesterday, it was funny but wrong. As she entered the class room yesterday she tried to make us do...
