Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 187 in Wurttemberg, Germany. Einstein’s parents, Hermann and Pauline Einstein, were non-practicing Jews who resided in Ulm. Being an interested and an enjoyable child, Albert went to a catholic elementary school where he took violin lessons. Even though his mother insisted he take the violin lessons, Einstein later in life became very fond of Mozart’s violin Sonatas. When Albert was five, he became very enthralled with complicated scientific and mathematical concepts. Einstein was so curious about life that when his father, Hermann, introduced him to a pocket compass, Albert realized that something in "empty space controlled the needle." He later describes this as a discovery of his life. Albert's hobbies included building models and mechanical devices for his amusement. Even though Albert demonstrated a high intelligence in mathematical concepts, his parents believed he suffered from a disability; Dyslexia, shyness, and Aspersers Syndrome. Later, Mr. and Mrs. Einstein and Albert moved to Munich, then later, moved to Milan. However, they left Albert behind to finish high school in Munich.
