Water Resource Plan Michelle Robertson Axia College of University of Phoenix The water resource issue that I have chosen is water pollution. I will describe my issue and how it originated. I will give a management and sustainment plan that I think will alleviate the problem. I will also discuss and opposing views to this issue. I will give other water or land resource problems that might result from my issue as well as and challenges, limitations, or implications of my management and sustainment plan. I will also discuss how my plan affects the community considering jobs, resources, and lifestyles. My plan for sustaining clean water in my community is to develop an educational program about water pollution-generating activities and their effects, schedule a presentation day and time, invite community participants, and research effects of water pollution. The orders of action items that will be complete are research the effects of water pollution, develop an educational program, schedule a presentation and time, and invite the community. The details of the action items in my plan will detail how I am going to conduct each action item. To research the effects of water pollution, I will need to review environmental websites and journals. Sources of water pollution and both environmental and health effects of water pollution will need to be documented as well as do video interviews of environmental researchers and facilitators. To develop an education program about water pollution effects, I will need to develop a presentation about why this program is needed and include water pollution’s ill effects, the lifestyles changes that will be required, and the benefits and challenges or changes. To schedule a presentation day and time, I will need to arrange and attend a monthly meeting for the community to present the benefits of the program.
