Feasibility of Adding AFVs to Fleet

Most people rent vehicles for traveling because they do not want to place unnecessary mileage on their personal vehicles. Challenges are faced concerning long distance traveling. This study will demonstrate the range of distance and energy used for typical Alternate Fuel Vehicles (AFV’s) and a challenge concerning the cost to the AFVs. For electric vehicles viewers of this analysis will see that AFV’s effect the pricing structure for power companies. A chart is provided which, will demonstrate potential vehicle costs for switching from traditional fuel vehicles to AFV’s.
This assessment will show alternative fuel is safer for the environment than traditional gas. Carbon dioxide is the chief pollutant to the Earth’s atmosphere. People across the world are concerned about global warming; therefore, making a change for a safer environment is an important factor to take into consideration. Quality features such as operating and maintenance costs are considered in the first theory. The second hypothesis displays the feasibility of the AFV switch of larger fleets to smaller fleets. Larger fleets are better equipped financially to consider the switch. Incentives have been established encouraging the use of AFV’s by the government. Vouchers, tax credit, funding, and other government incentives have been put in place to help companies switch and maintain the use of their AFV’s.
