“ What Impacted My Life To Make Me Who I Am”
My desire to study in the field of law emerged when I first realized I wish to study Law while reading a newspaper, when it suddenly occurred to me that every article was somehow related to the law. I remember thinking how amazing it was that such a diverse range of issues could be linked back to a single word. This truly unique quality of influencing all aspects of life (although I am sure there are plenty of economists who would question its uniqueness). It intrigues me because it is continually evolving over time, faster rate than anything I have met in my current studies, in order to remain a true reflection of an ever-changing society.
I believe that I can be successful in the law course as I have the necessary range skills such as problem solving, communication, and independent thinking. Throughout my school life I have worked extremely hard, and this is reflected in my results, which have been consistently A-B grades. Apart from being academically successful, I have the drive and determination needed to succeed on a very challenging course.
Personally, to me I have the maturity and work ethic to succeed at college, discipline has always come easily to me, often wanting to be on a tangent. As I grew older and more mature I avoided extra activities less and less realizing that my high school provided the best method to further oneself socially, mentally, and indeed physically. Also being on the track team inspired me a lot because it made me socialize more and meet people and get to know more about them. This has taught me the importance of teamwork and leadership to reach a personal and collective best and being perfect in school has shown me how there is a need for discipline and the importance of ones responsibilities.
