Prologue

It all started when I was inside my dad’s science lab; however, I was not supposed to be in there. My dad researched and invented top secret gadgets for a numerous amount of international governments’ and he did not want me snooping around. What was supposed to be a simple excursion of just checking out my dad’s inventions took a whole new turn when I accidently bumped and activated his Transformation Device. This device decreased or increased the size of any object hit by its particle beam, and it usually deformed that object. Luckily all my body parts stayed in their normal state. However, I shrunk to microscopic size in mid-air, and landed inside one of my dad’s shoes that were lying on the ground next to his computer desk; this fall led me to a world that I will never forget.
“Ah,” I screamed as I found myself falling from what felt to be about ten stories in high. When in reality, I was only falling from the distance between the science desks to where his shoes laid on the ground. I was so small it felt like I was falling for miles. Finally, I landed on a soft rubbery surface that bounced me back into the air like a trampoline until I came to an abrupt stop. Furthermore, this place was not like any other it was like I was on a whole different planet.
There were giant rocks elevating from the ground, huge gray balls of lint, dark mist covering the air, craters miles deep, and a disgusting aroma. This place had similar features to pictures of the Earth’s moon that I had seen in my discovery books’. Suddenly, I heard a loud crashing noise, and then I was surrounded by thousands, if not millions, of monster-like creatures all staring at me. They looked like they hadn’t eaten for days, and I thought I was about to become the next meal on their menu.
