WHEREAS the DONOR wishes to enter into a contract for the supply of furniture and carrying out of other woodwork refurbishment on the 385m2 office space located at (hereinafter called “the Property”] with …………………………………………..,of ……………………………………...(hereinafter called the (“CONTRACTOR”)
NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH that the DONOR hereby appoints the CONTRACTOR for the supply of the following :
1. 10(ten) nos. 4 seater workstations.
2. 1 (one) no.15 seat conference table
3. 1 (one) no. mini conference table
4. 1 (one) no. canteen running table
5. 1(one) no. Technical office running table
6. 3(three) nos. office desk for cubicles
7. 2(two) nos. Office desk for M.D.’s office(round)
8. T.V. unit for M.D.’s office
The total value of the contract shall be 2,100,000 Naira (TWO MILLION, ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA) only, and shall be paid in installments according to the following schedule:
1. 30% advance upon execution
2. 20% at 40% completion of contract
3. 20 at 80% completion of contract
4. 10% at 100% completion of contract
5. balance 20% after 30 days of completion of contract,
on the terms and conditions stated below:-
1. That the contractor shall commence work on ………………., and complete same on………………
2. That the Contractor shall provide/supply equipments in the quality and quantity as is specified in the B.O.Q and agreed upon by the donor.
3. That the contractor shall forfeit…. % of the balance due on the contract for everyday he is in default of delivering the aforementioned items in the quality and quantity previously agreed.
4. That the contractor shall issue a warranty of goods delivered to cover a period of not less than……months.
