Abstract
There are many types of franchises for people to invest in. I will be analyzing the franchise ClaimTek. It is a home-based claims processing business. I will also explore in detail, the many questions that may arise when wanting to start one’s own franchise. This paper will explain what the company is all about and what it takes to get this business started.
ClaimTek Franchise
Today, many people want to be their own boss. Is buying one’s own franchise something that one might do to achieve that goal? The franchise that I have researched is ClaimTek. This paper will answer some of the questions concerning ClaimTek and whether or not people want to invest in this business by owning their own franchise. I will describe this franchise, as well as, the start up costs, the opportunities for this franchise, the requirements and how to market this business.
ClaimTek is one of the leading electronic medical/dental claims processing software businesses in this country. It is a home-based franchise that has flexible hours. According to Farhat (n.d.), the president and software developer of ClaimTek, “my philosophy on business is to provide the best software with annual upgrades, deliver personal training, offer superior marketing for licensees and ensure support 24-7” (as cited in Galloway, n.d., para. 13). Farhat’s philosophy is important to any potential franchise owner. ClaimTek gives one the tools to pursue healthcare facilities and to sell them on using a home-based business to submit their claims to insurance companies. The marketing for this company is limitless. As long as one has a computer, they can market their business right from their own home.
