Academic Search Premier Covers nearly every subject in academic discipline with emphasize on peer reviewed scholarly journals.
• A brief description of Gale Virtual Reference Library:
Gale Virtual Reference Library is full text subject encyclopedias and other electronic reference book articles. The electronic versions are referred to as e-books. It provides easier access to materials, but cost just as much as print so it cannot be accessed off of the campus without a library card and password. It is located in the reference category, and contains about 500 subject encyclopedias published by major reference book publishers. Written for readers at college level to provide an in depth overview of the topic. It is great to use to get background information for a specific topic.

The electric library also known as the Electronic Journals Service (EJS) provides access to the electronic version of a number of MCTC's print subscriptions. It browses journals and articles. It allows you to search by title, subject, or publisher. It can help to quickly find articles needed for a research paper. It also allows you to create your own personal storage area, for future use.

ProQwest Newspapers are full text articles and over 550 national and international newspapers written in the English Language. The newspapers are most often published daily or weekly. They are written in a journalistic style and may not be suitable for all research papers.
