Nobody Said That It Would Be Easy

The things people say can touch you in different ways. If there is someone that is close to you who says something meaningful you remember it and continue to use it in life. However you are given plenty of advice during your life time, yet there is always that one piece of advice that you always remember to get you through the day. My favorite quotation that gets me through the day is “Nobody said that it would be easy they just said that it would be worth it” by Aalu Hummiktuq; It is meaningful to me in many ways.
The reason why this quote is meaningful to me is because when I got to high school the work started to get hard. I didn’t understand why I made such good grades in middle school, but just didn’t understand high school work. I talk to my friend Robin Floyd about how I was feeling, and she told me “Nobody said that it would be easy they just said it would be worth it” by Aalu Hummiktuq. Once she said that to me I thought about how hard high school is, but also how it was very much worth it. However, school work is not the only reason this quote is meaningful to me. There have been times when I felt like giving up when it comes to my favorite sports track & cheerleading. For example, track is a competitive sport, and there have been time when my track coach has given us hard workouts. Giving up was always the first thing that came to mind. Therefore, I would just think of this quote, because I knew this hard work was worth getting first place and being proud of me. In the mean time I also have moments during cheerleading practice when I feel like I can’t throw this specific tumbling pass. I just want to give up, then I think about the quote and it reminds me that it may be hard but it’s worth improving my skills.
