Global Warming Essay

Global warming refers to an average increase in the Earth’s temperature, which in turn causes warmed by 1 Fahrenheit Celsius over the past 100 years. Scientists are not sure why this is, but climate scientist think that it is because of the things people do are helping to make the Earth activities. Most scientists believe that a rise in carbon dioxide emissions will lead to further global warming. Many are also convinced that human activities are partly responsible for the long-term warming of the past century.

Scientists also believe that there is enough evidence to warrant a sensible approach toward minimizing warmed by 1 Fahrenheit Celsius over the past 100 years. Scientists are not sure why this is, but climate scientist think that it is because of the things people do are helping to make the Earth then that would help decrease carbon dioxide that is in the air.

Global Warming is a big problem and I believe that if everyone takes in part in it we can make a big difference. In fact, as individuals, we can cut back on our daily energy use and conserve energy by removing items that use unnecessary amounts of energy, buy clean or hybrid vehicles that are environmentally friendly. Some other things that we can do together would be raise awareness of the need for action and working to create Congressional support for ratification of the Kyoto climate treaty. We also can support stopping of clear-cutting of valuable forests and help new renewable energy technologies.
