This movie is based on several strong women that live around the rundown housing projects on Brewster place. These women struggle with the probably the trail week and bigotry and troublesome men their lives. This movie shows seven stories six of them Center around one character the final story shows how the whole the entire community oh women come together and support each other.
Cora is one of the six character there's a movie. Her character Betrayals woman with a little girl having a hard time taking care of her because of her husband requires her to up keep the apartment and his physically need. Her husband has a hard time keeping a job to pay the bills. Cora get pregnant again. She's very excited about being pregnant again but her husband was not. He was telling her she needs to get reedit of it an abortion because he doesn't want another child to take care. Her husband is mad at her because she wants to keep the baby. While there in the Room arguing and fighting.
Her daughter that's under the age of two years old, get electrocuted by sticking a fork and the socket or plug. While dealing with her daughter passed away her husband leaves her and she lost her pregnancy with her last child. The women of Brewster place gives her some life after the whole ordeal.
This character is stereotype particularly, because she was a young mother, her husband was very abusive physically and mentally. She was she wanted a house full of kids, and she live under poverty level. The main character is Mattie Michael’s she was forced to move out of her home so she moved in to the Brewster place. Etta Mae she was Mattie childhood friend she spent most of her life move into the city to city. She feel like she will have a broken spirit. Evil is a woman who provide Maddie a place to stay she held her son troubles. Basil is Maddie's only son she watched him grow up into young man. She's unable to understand his ass is where he get into a fight...
