Many people may go to the movies. The movies can be an escape into a fantasy world. The type of movie someone goes to see can give a hint to what kind of personality thye possess. Everyone has a different preference on what type of movie is best suited for them. There are many people that will classify themselves as moviegoers, movie fans, and movie fanatics.
Movie goer is a term created by the movie industry. This can be any everyday person that attend a movie at a theatre. It does not have to be based on the frequency of attendance. I consider myself to be an average movie goer, as a pleasurable past time every once and a while. It’s a way to get together with family and friend. Family and friends are another way to take your mind off of things by taking a trip to the movie theatre.
Then there your movie fan, this person has an increased interest in movies of a certain category. Some movie fans might enjoy the occasional scare of a horror movie, while others enjoy the emotions felt by a romance. Most movie fans may also just be a fan of a certain actor or actress that may play in the movie they are viewing; sometimes even a fan of the director. You may find that some movie fans has seen every movie Actor Denzel Washington has played in regardless if the role he played was good or bad.
Finally there is your movie fanatic, they are more likely to attend the movies on a more regular basis then any of the others. The fanatics consider the movies as their favorite form of entertainment. They are capable of remembering every little detail about the movie, from what the actor/actress may have ate or wore during a scene. They also have extensive DVD collections, posters, and t-shirts. These are the ones you can find at those midnight film showings.
