Introduction
The element of innovation remains an integral aspect within an organization since this determines its survival within a market. However, it remains a challenge for most organizations to maintain their innovative nature consistently, an aspect that requires effective approaches of contributing to the success of their organization (Volberda, et.al.2013). Within an organization, a significant feature of innovation process purposely depends upon the creativity of employees who come with different compelling ideas, while other aspects of innovation includes the manner in which an organization conducts its innovative processes from a managerial and technical perspective.
In this case, it is important to establish that the management of knowledge within a work environment remains one of the challenges that organizations encounter in the process of improving their innovative nature. Knowledge management therefore remains the single most approach that is essential in improving an organizations competitiveness and innovation within a market segment (Volberda, et.al.2013).
