My Moral Theory
In my mind, human and non-human things are all equal. We are all made up of the same thing. We are all just living organisms on this planet. Now, there are obviously differences between to the human race compared to other non-human species. The biggest difference that separates us in my opinion is the ability of the brain. We can overcome and control our instincts to a much higher degree compared to other species. We can make decisions and understand what they mean. Other things on this planet cannot do any of these things on our level. With this in mind, as humans, we should be the only moral agents to have rights when it comes to living in our current society. That’s everyone, all types of groups, cultures, exc. If you look at the United States of America, we as a society all live and interact in the same atmosphere. This is where these rights as humans should be applied. Things may change accordingly with other places. We are the contributors to our own happiness. Humans will do anything and everything to make them happy. That brings me to the difference between right and wrong.
The difference between right and wrong is kind of a hard subject to have a theory on for me. Reason being, the difference between right and wrong as we see it didn’t happen over night. The past is what shapes the future, along with how people act and what they think is right and wrong. I am a strong believer in making the most amount of people happy. For example, most people love dogs. We enjoy having them around us. Dogs have a high capability of having personal relationships with humans. Humans can become attached to dogs as they do with other humans, maybe not always to the same extent, but they do. Now take a Mole. Pretty much no one has any kind of personal relationship with a mole. Actually, most people hate them because they dig holes and wreck people’s yards. You can go to a store, buy mole traps to kill them, and will not be punished for it. If someone...
