My Goals

Goals, are they needed? Well if you asked me, I’d say yes. Yes, due to the simple fact that your goals set the tone of who you are, and who you want to be. Without goals, we wouldn’t be able to reach our highest peak of success. For this school year I’ve set three goals. These goals are being humble, getting my license, and making my girlfriend happy.
Being humble is one of my biggest goals. This goal is most important to me for a lot of reasons. The most important reason is that I want to be seen differently. I want to be seen differently because last year I made a fool of myself. This year, I plan to improve on my behavior by staying to myself, going to all my classes, and can’t forget talking less.
Getting my license is one of my many goals. This goal has meaning to be because I want to be considered a young man. Most of all I want to be seen as responsible. I plan to accomplish this by studying the Pennsylvania Drivers Manual and most importantly, passing my permit test. I plan to achieve this goal by working hard since I believe this is a privilege that comes with becoming a young adult.
Making my girlfriend happy is the last and final goal. Although the last, it is by far the most important goal to me. This goal is important to me because I want to show her who I am, as well as what I am capable of in and out of school. I plan to treat her with the same respect I showed my mother when she was still alive. I will do this by being an honest and respectful young man. What I mean by this is, I will give her my heart, no questions asked. I will also do this by showing her that I want to be something in life, not just another statistic.
In writing this essay, I have learned a lot about myself. I have learned that I have set goals of high expectations in my life. Staying humble, getting my license, and making my lady happy is only the beginning to a new better me. My plans to...
