Our Vision for Success
Diamond Sports and Fitness Gym has been steadily growing since its inception only a few months ago. Our leaders have been able to come together and create a great mission statement that has provided our company with strategic direction on our goals and values. We must not forget another important element in our business strategy. We must gather together to create our vision. We must ask ourselves where our organization is headed and how long will it take to achieve this vision. Top management must support our newly established vision in our strategic plan that focuses on what is really important for the gym and to positively influence our staff, members, and our community.
What Must Consider in our Creation
The vision statement is a concise description of where the company is headed and where it is headed in the next 5-10 years (Abraham, 2012). It must clearly state the company’s values and describe its long-term goals. Both mission and vision statements are important for a company to create because it is one of the first steps for overall strategy and development (Abraham). The vision statement should include an envisioned future with a core purpose (Price, 2001). Subsequently, this statement should consist of the future image, the source of motivation, and the organization’s purpose (Price). We must have a forward-thinking approach when explaining where we want to go that is clear, bold, and daring.
Our Vision Statement
Our vision is to be a recognized leader in fitness center in Orange County, California with the interest of expanding to multiple locations throughout the United States by 2017. We will provide a community, whereby the members are physically active in a social atmosphere and continue the lifestyle changes needed on a daily basis to keep them healthy for years to come.
