All around the U.S many citizens are know to say the pledge of Allegiance and not everyone agrees with what it says. The pledge of allegiance is not proudly accepted by everybody. There should be some changes to the pledge so everyone could agree with it. There soon may be a time when we could loose our pledge and it will all be due to this little error that some people see it as a critical event. Changing the phrases in our pledge may make a difference today and forever.

The pledge phrases have changed many of times also in the present day.On September 8, 1892, the Boston based "The Youth's Companion" magazine published a few words for students which was written by Francis Bellamy. The Pledge of Allegiance is a promise or oath of allegiance to the United States as represented by its national flag. Today only half of our fifty states have laws that encourage the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in the classroom. Today it is still unknown if the words “under God” should be removed.

Many Americans in there religion are offended by the words “under God”. The pledge needs to be changed so the religions people agree with this pledge. Many swear when the say “under one nation under god” and it is against people’s religion to swear. An agreement to be in the United States will be better than swearing. “Under god” is an endorsement of religion. It is said if it is against their religion that they should not speak with but words but to ignore it.

Our pledge has been our symbol for those who kept it raised many years ago and we all should have pride. Many supreme courts say that the pledge is not meant to be a religious statement but a phrase we see as our whole nation together. Allegiance means everyone has loyalty towards our country; pledge is a promise to our country which everyone must keep. We need to keep our country strong and everyone needs to support our country although those who see as a religious statement...
