OUR PROM We are students who had the international general certificate of secondry education (IGCSE) and we had our prom organised by some of the students, because we had the IGs privately, which means that we doesn’t have to attend a particular school. The girls decided that the party must be held at one of the compounds which have a celebration hall, and that’s what has happened after all. Once we have arrived at the place we entered from a back door with stairs heading up, and all our friends were standing there organizing themselves in one line on the stairs waiting for us all to arrive, then they gave each of us his graduation outfit to wear and get ready to enter the hall. After we all got ready, we entered the hall in one line, one after another, and there was this little girl she was giving us white roses at the hall entrance. While we were making our way to the hall, we heard the song played by the DJ, it was a really nice song about the graduation, and all of us were singing and feeling really happy that we are finally going to graduate, and then there was our parents taking photos of us and calling our names and the look on their eyes felt that they were really proud of all of us. After that emotional moment the parents all gathered together and us the graduates went to the dance floor and had a really good time, we were dancing and singing and listening to our favorite music. After the dancing and singing and after the parents left, we felt that the party was turning to be a little boring and we had to think of anything new and fun to do, and one of my friends had an idea, he said let’s play football, but it was no way that we was going to do that and also all of us were wearing formal outfits and we cannot play any sports wearing them. After a while we all agreed to go to the movies, and so that’s what has happened, the prom party turned out to be a hangout with all the boys and the girls having the IGs privately, and we watched a comedy movie...
