Religion Essay
God reveals himself in our lives through a variety of different ways. During the many interesting religion lessons our class has had, I was able to pick up some key points on where I think I see God and where he depicts himself. Through our faith, through people and through nature is what I have come to believe to answer the question of where do we find God.
God is found in our faith because our faith is the gift that God made and gifted us with. An example of where we see God In our faith is when we pray and attend Church, doing so, we see God not physically or as an image, but in our minds and in our imagination as our creator. Another example of faith is Jesus; because he desperately tried to encourage everyone to believe in God and that he himself is the son of God. Doing so, God revealed himself to man many times in different forms to teach us a lesson, such as a burning bush, a voice etc… This brings me to my next section where I will talk about people and how we find God in them.
We find God in people because we are his creation and all of us have a piece of God inside ourselves. Good examples were the Twelve Apostles, God comes to mind when we think about them, and therefore they showed that they had faith and that they represented God. Each one of them tried their hardest to spread the word of God. The Twelve Apostles were chosen for a reason, Faith is mandatory because they have to believe and not fear of what is asked of them to do. Furthermore we see God in each other because we were created by him in his image equally and he loves each one of us the same.
Nature is another place where we find God. I think we find God in nature because all that is a part of it such as trees or animals reflects him and his image of the earth. All the aspects of nature reflect God because he is the creator and he has made everything for a purpose and from his own perspective.
