Hinduism Essay
The Hinduism religion is a very different and interesting compared to the Christian and Islam religions we studied so far in the year. They all have different types of holy books they have. Also the way the religions were founded is very different. The biggest difference is the rituals they perform for their religion.
The first subject of these religions I will be talking about is there holy book. In Christianity they have what is called the bible. The Bible is a two part book, the two parts being called the old and new testaments. The Bible is believed to be written by forty authors; also it was read like factual news, accounts of real people, events, places, and dialogue. The Islamic holy book is called The Koran and it was written by Mohammad. This book tells the rules on all subjects including politics, law and as well as economic and social life. Also instead of being read from left to right it is read right to left. Now for Hinduism there holy book is called The Vedas. With The Vedas we don’t know who wrote it because the religion is so old. It’s also filled with hymns, prayers, explanations of rituals, and wise sayings. It is also the most ancient religious texts inn the Indo-European language.
The next thing is the founders of the religion and how they were founded. In Christianity the founder was Jesus. The reason it was founded because god had told him that he was the last prophet and spread the word of him among the people. The Islam religion was founded by Mohammad. It was founded after the angel Gabriel had come down to Mohammad in a cave...
