Exploring the different technological tools is very important. I can download digital and Web-based formats sources for my assignments. I can use the audio appendixes to listen, and the digital stories to help me better understand the audio appendixes. I can also use the tutorials to help me understand how to use the library and the student website.
The library will always be the most reliable source for me, so that I can conduct a research with the proper tools. The best way to be successful and save time for retrieving information is by conducting a keyword search on my topic of choice. I can use the Boolean logic method to narrow down my searches. I can also use the different databases available in the library, such as, EBSCOhost or Thomson Gale Power Search to find articles on my topic or I can ask the librarian to assist me in researching. After finding an article for my topic I need to identify key information within article. I need to read the article and decide which parts are key points. I could highlight these key points, so that I can easily refer back to them.

I must uphold Axia’s Academic Honesty Policy. I have read and understand Axia’s Academic Honesty Policy. Academic dishonesty is a very serious offense. Plagiarizing would threaten my integrity as a student, as well as, the integrity of the University. To avoid plagiarism, I must make source and content notes as I go, know the difference between quotations and paraphrasing, I must use the appropriate citations, and I can use the plagiarism checker provided by Axia.
Setting and Achieving Goals
My long- and short-term goals are very important to me. One of my long-term goals is to complete all of the courses in my major, so that I can graduate and be proud that I finally completed college.
