Slavery: A Brief History

Most people believe slavery started in the States but it is as ancient as mankind is. Slavery started over 5,000 years ago in Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia, China, India, and Arabia. Ever since then it has been practiced ever since. So slavery did NOT start in the the U.S it has been practiced everywhere in the world. So what ever people say it is not true. Slavery was not started in the U.S.A.
There were three main reasons slavery began in the U.S: It made the 'masters' life easier for they did not do work, They gained more money by having slaves do the work because more work got done on the farms, and African chiefs were locked into a cycle: They needed protection against other tribes and the only way to get guns were to trade slaves.
In those situations I would not have used slaves to do my work. What is the point of living if you can't do things yourself. Sure you could get a quick million but what is the point if you couldn't make it yourself!!! It may have been easier to make slaves do all the work but I don't think I would fall under the pressure. I mean sure a million dollars would be great for doing nothing all day but having people work themselves to DEATH! That's just not fair!!! I they don't need to work for these people for no pay or just to be separated from their families and their lives. Why would someone do that to somebody they don't even know. For all I know if ,I would use slaves, they could have kids or a wife. And they had to give that all up so they could become a slave and die in a land they don't know! That's just not right.
