Bullying happens to so many people of all age groups, all around the world. There are lots of different kinds of bullying, and they all hurt. Bullying usually involves three individuals or groups. There are many steps one can take while being bullied. In order to stop bullying one needs to know what bullying is, the groups involved in bullying, the short and long term effects of bullying, and how to handle attacks if the situation comes up. Bullying will bring more danger and violence into the world if it continues to go on. So it needs to stop before it gets more out of control then what it already is.
Bullying can include many different behaviors, such as physical violence and attacks, verbal taunts, name calling and put downs. Bullying is when a person or a group tries to hurt or control another person. Sometimes bullying means hitting, kicking, pushing, shoving, or making someone do something they don’t want to do. Sometimes bullying is using mean words or threats, calling someone names, or saying bad things behind their back. Bullying can even mean making someone feel unsafe or scared, leaving them out of things, or making them feel they’re not important. Bullying is defined as a conscious, willful, deliberate hostile and repeated behavior by one or more people, which is intended to harm others.
The three groups that bullying usually involves are the bullies the victims and the bystanders. Any girl or boy can be either a bully or a victim. Although the gender differences exist. Boys who are bullies are usually above average in size. Boy bullies typically use force or the threat of force. Boys are usually more physical when they bully like shoving, pushing, and hitting. Girls who are bullies are often above average in verbal assertiveness. Girls bully by using words more than physical force, they mock and ridicule their victims.
