College can be very stressful to first time students, espicially students who have been out of school for a long time. If a student gets over

stressed they could become sick and not make it to class all the time which will make them fall behind in their studies. There are ways to manage stress so

you do not get overwhelmed with the stress and become ill or frustrated. One way is to have physical activity like jogging, running, playing sports, or

swimming. Physical activity helps clear and sharpen your mind and gives you more confidence so you can think more clearly and not to frustrated when

challenges come along so you don't just give up and not do it. Another way to manage stress is to have a good attitude, if you think you can't do it then

more than likely you won't be able to. You have to have a good attitude towards life and school or it is just gonna make things that much harder. The way i

keep a good attitude is by taking things one step at a time. You never want to overwhelm your self with to much work or you will feel like you have way to

much to do and it will start to eat away at your attitude. This also goes along with managing your time wisely so you don't have to much to do at one time.

If you manage your time right you will be able to get things done in a timely fashion and on time, I always try to split up the problems or essays into

sections so i can do them one at a time that way it seems like I don't have an overload of work to get done. One of the best ways to manage stress is to get

good sleep. Sleep helps your mind heal and think more clearly, if you do not get enough sleep you can have mood changes,stress, anxiety and loss of coping

skills, reduced immunity to disease and viral infection, impaired judgment. If your mood changes then you will get frustrated about things that wouldn't

normally bother you such as not understanding a problem or not knowing how to write a paper. You must establish...
