WHY GAY MARRIAGE SHOULD BE OPPOSED

Assalamualaikum and a very good morning I bid to Madam Sakhiyyah and fellow friends. Does anyone of you have seen or heard about the rainbow-colored flag? Do you guys know what it means? I would be delivering a speech on ‘Why Gay Marriage Should Be Opposed”. Contrary to the popular belief that the word gay just meant ‘a man liking a man’, the exact meaning of gay is a homosexual, especially a man. So, the word could also be used for homosexual females. Nowadays, there is an increase in gay people who wanted to marry their gay partner, even though it is clearly very wrong. Today I would be giving several reasons of why gay marriages should be opposed.
First of all, gay marriage is wrong in every way there is in all religions. It clearly defies God’s law. Homosexuality is clearly wrong because in the Holy Quran, it is stated in many surah that God has created His creation in pairs, of opposite sexes. Men and women are opposites; opposite magnet poles attract each other. If the people with the same sex were to marry each other, it would simply not work out, just like similar poles of magnet that will repel. God did not create Adam and Steve, He created Adam and Eve. The history of Adam and Eve proves that from the very beginning, women are created for men and vice versa and not man for man and woman for woman.
Next, gay marriage will change society’s concept of marriage. There are opinions that state that marriage just a way of recognizing people who love each other and want to spend their lives together even though they are of the same sex. The opinion explains the phrase “Love Wins” quite accurately. Love and companionship are usually considered integral to marriage in our culture, but they are not sufficient to define it as an institution. If gay marriage is legalized, this will make the society have a warped sense about the marriage concept. They would see that people can marry whomever...
